Nestled alongside the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, TX is a small, stonework building, wrapped around by a breezy porch overlooking gardens of native Texas plants, trees and wildflowers. Birds, butterflies, lizards, and bees abound.

“Let’s do a surprise for Mama!” This girl shows her love for people by making and giving gifts. Crafts and projects are her jam! Planning surprises for others brings her joy! Often, you will find her hidden away in her art “studio” creating gifts for people.

It was a beautiful, sunny, spring day when we went out to the trails in Kerrville to photograph this three-year-old redhead’s spirited personality. Springtime in the Hill Country is beautiful and the greenery and wildflowers made a beautiful setting for her photo shoot!

As a little girl, for each Christmas and birthday my auntie would put her handiworks skills to practice and create something beautiful and special for all her nieces and nephews, mainly knit dolls and colorful sweaters. As one of the youngest cousins, I got to benefit from her sweater hand-me-downs and so warm and cozy they were!

A day in the life of a 16-month-old toddler means lots of playing, giggling, reading of books, and watching the washing machine spin round and round and round.

A precious round-cheeked newborn, with a full belly, cozy and content, it seems such a peaceful moment, doesn’t it! In reality, there was a non-stop moving, curious toddler on the run, and a rambunctious great pyrenees joining in the fun! It was a morning of fun and chaos with two adorable babies and a collection of funny animals!

Well, here is week 3 of my 365 project and, surprisingly, still going strong! However, I have no idea what I’ll do with all these cat photos if I continue to keep this up, LOL!

Having only restarted my portrait business here in Kerrville during October of last year, I don’t have a great many photographs to share for a 2022 Favorites Collection, but I managed to come up with a Top 6 from the few photo shoots I had last year.
