About Wild Bairn

Hello! My name is Naomi and I am the photographer behind Wild Bairn. With 22 years as a children’s nanny, five years as a children’s gymnastics coach and 15 years as a children’s photographer, you might say I tend to get on well with kids. Childhood is a beautiful season of life that passes so quickly and I want to document every moment for you, for your children, and for future generations. With two grandfathers who loved to take photographs, one to document his travels and his eight children, and one who turned his love into a profession, I am so grateful to have those photos of my parents and aunts and uncles as little children. And I’m grateful that my father inherited that love of photographing moments and so beautifully captured my childhood so I can always look back on the photographs and remember those sweet times. And now I love being that person for others, memorializing new life, first steps, first lost teeth, young passions, graduations, the difficult and beautiful moments that life throws at you, all to be remembered and to be learned from for generations to come.
