12 Family Photos of Love from an Austin Photographer
Valentine’s Day, a holiday of uncertain origins, has been a celebration of love and romance since the Middle Ages. As an Austin photographer, I have photographed hundreds of moments of love over the past 15 years, from parents enamored with their newborn baby, brothers and sisters showing affection and care towards each other, parents playing and laughing with their kids, and children snuggling with their beloved pets. Life is full of love and joy and I adore photographing those moments for families! On this Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share a compilation of portraits that show love amongst family.
Love is making sure your newborn baby sister has her pacifier.
Love is reading a story to your younger brother and sister (and kitten) before bed.
Love is keeping each other warm on a cold and windy day.
Love is cooperating for, and pretending to enjoy, your annual family portrait session simply because it’s important to your mom.
Love is when you have so much trust in your mom, you know without a doubt that she will catch you!
Love is giant hugs with your best friend!
Love is giggles and hugs between brother and sister.
Love is bedtime lullabies from Daddy’s guitar.
Love is a helping hand from Mom when learning a new skill.
Love is sweet snuggles with your tiny, sleepy kitten.
Love is laughter between father and son.
Love is being filled with so much joy, you just have to grab your favorite face in the world and hold it tightly to yourself.
