Five Reasons to Book Your Photo Shoot this June

1. Beautiful weather!

In June, we haven’t yet hit the hottest days of summer. The temperature should still be pretty comfortable, not too hot and not too cold.

2. The kids are out of school!

You won’t have to worry about coordinating your photo shoot around the kids’ school schedule. Let’s plan your portrait session at a time that works best for you, not at a time squeezed between school, homework, after school activities and bedtime!

3. You can wear pretty sundresses and colorful shorts!

Going back to reason #1, because of the beautiful weather, you can wear all the fun, comfy clothes! No coats, no hats, no bitterly cold arctic winds! Heck, you can even go barefoot if you want!

4. Miss the autumn rush!

September through November is the busiest time in a family photographer’s schedule! By having your portraits done in June, not only do you not have to worry about getting on your favorite photographer’s schedule, but you have one less thing to worry about during the Christmas rush! Your family portraits are done and Christmas cards are a breeze! Either plug them into a template at your preferred card printer, or leave it up to your photographer to design and print them for you. Either way, it’s one less thing to worry about getting done during that busy season.

5. It’s beautiful in June!

The grass is typically still green, the sun is shining, we have great blue skies and puffy clouds! It’s a beautiful time of year for portraits!
