Expressive Faces of 2023 with an Austin Family Photographer
Joy, sadness, confusion, anger, surprise . . . our faces can express so many different emotions! Expressions play a very important role in human communication, allowing us to convey a rich array of emotions without uttering a single word! As an Austin children’s photographer, the primary expression I seek to photograph is joy. What parent does not want to remember their child’s smile, their happiness? The sweet and subtle smiles, the great, laughing, teeth showing grins, and everything in between, those are the primary expressions most parents hope for! I hope you find some enjoyment in this compilation of portraits of babies and kids with happy, expressive faces!
I love this photograph of a young boy, mid-laugh, eyes squeezed shut from the overwhelming need to giggle! I was probably talking about farts. ;)
This blue-eyed blonde toddler with the slight smile, arms reaching up towards me, was probably anticipating having a look at the back of my camera to see the portraits I had taken of her.
The quirky grin framed by his sweet curls and his bright eyes, this toddler’s smile is contagious!
Yup, books make me this happy too! Such a joyful, laughing smile was flashed by this fun, six year old!
This sweet kindergartner’s smile was both shy and joy filled!
I love this preschooler’s cheerful face and bouncy piggy tails!
I’m pretty sure this four-year-old boy was planning something questionable with this mischievous smile!
The windswept hair and crooked smile on this round-cheeked toddler was precious!
This dark haired, three-year-old was calm and contented during her lifestyle photo session at home.
This tiny boy was an expressive baby! Halfway between sleep and wakefulness, he shared so many of his sweet expressions for his newborn portrait collection!
What a delighted expression on this handsome boy’s face! Once again, we were probably talking about farts and stinky feet.
The seven-year-old teeth and delightful design of freckles just add to the happy feeling in this portrait of a young girl!
Take a look at the laughing smile on this ten-year-old boy’s face and have a guess what our topic of conversation was.
Is there anyone in the world happier than an exuberant one-year-old? Toddlers feel the utmost extremes of all emotions, LOL!
What a cheery little girl!
