Barton Creek Austin Baby Portraits

What a joy it was photographing this happy chap! I always try to photograph a child as exactly who he is. A more serious, reserved child will probably have a sweet collection of portraits with thoughtful expressions and shy smiles. An energetic child will likely have many portraits with movement and expressive faces! This eight-month-old baby boy just loved life and embraced it with tremendous joy! His gallery of portraits was FULL of joy filled smiles!

Let’s take a second to coo over this precious moment between Mama and her baby boy! When we took a few minutes out of the session to capture a couple portraits of mother and son playing together, and then he grabbed her face and pulled her to him, oh my heart! What a beautiful, precious moment!

When a child latches on to a special toy, a lovey, and it brings him comfort and helps to soothe him, naturally it needs to be included in his baby portraits. This little fellow had a stuffed monkey that he loved to cuddle with. And then he picked that thing up and started gnawing on it like a dog with a bone, LOL! A little bit of teething going on, perhaps?
