Child of Autumn Photos at Lost Maples State Park
One of the prettiest places in the Texas Hill Country, Lost Maples in the fall is a vision of color! Greens! Reds! Oranges! What a place for a family photo shoot! It was a warm evening, warm enough to dip bare toes into the Sabinal River. Though it was near the end of the season and most of the leaves had dropped, there was still color all around! The simple, green dress that the shopkeeper at Fredericksburg’s Natural Baby had helped choose for this photo shoot, was the perfect style and color for both this sweet, redheaded child and our colorful, autumn location.
Autumn is a special time of year for this family. Mom and Dad met in the autumn, married in the autumn, and found out that their family was growing to include this beautiful girl in the autumn. It seemed fitting to have a special photo shoot of their little “child of autumn” amongst the fall colors at Lost Maples. Six-years-old, missing her first tooth, full of joy and life, it was a wonderful evening with this little girl, exploring the park and searching for the prettiest, most colorful, pockets of nature to take her photos in!
The leaves at Lost Maples are changing color and perfect for a fall-themed childhood photo shoot! The colors of autumn will fade quickly, so if you’d like to have your own fall family portrait session at Lost Maples State Park, book your session soon!
